Safety is the greatest mission pursued by Laboratory Fume Hoods. The use of Laboratory Fume Hoods by laboratories is to ensure the safety of users and prevent pollution to the surrounding environment.
These security are mainly reflected in:
1, using a single slot exhaust structure, effectively discharge harmful gases.
2. Streamlined handle, leaving a gap between the handle and the glass, since the flow of air on the table is rotating, from the surface to ensure effective air intake.
3, set the window to prevent falling sales, in case of accidental fall of the glass window off the glass window, with the anti-drop will catch, to prevent personnel injury.
4. The glass window is made of tempered glass. Even if the glass accidentally crashes or explodes, no accident will occur.
5. Ventilation holes are provided in the upper part of the Laboratory Fume Hood. Even if the glass window is closed, it can enter the air to avoid generating more negative pressure.
6, the use of metal materials in the hood of the Laboratory Fume Hood is not flammable. The inner cavity is made of flame retardant or non-combustible material, such as anti-fold special plate, stainless steel plate, etc. The solid physicochemical board or stainless steel plate is used on the table to prevent acid, alkali, heat and fire.
7. The effective height of the glass window is 800mm, the inner cavity is 1200mm, and the height of the table is 800mm. It is ergonomic, easy to operate, uses a large space, and improves safety.
8, Shui Tsui, gas Tsui in the counter outside the remote operation of the handle, more convenient and safe than direct hand operation.
Laboratory Fume Hood use matters needing attention
Before the start of the experiment, it must be confirmed that the Laboratory Fume Hood should be in the running state to perform the experimental operation.
Before the end of the experiment, at least 5 minutes or more must be continued before the ventilator can be switched off to remove the residual gas in the pipeline. Also consider installing an exhaust time delay to ensure that the ventilator delays operation.
During the experiment, do not put any equipment within 150 mm from the glass window. Large experimental equipment should have sufficient space and should not affect the flow of air. The front window should be closed as much as possible.
